We are a Manufacturing Plant of Specialty Lubricants.
Currently we are looking for a Purchasing Agent.
The Ideal candidate for the Purchasing position will possess a demonstrated trade record of results with the following abilities.
Purchasing AgentObtain purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
Must pay attention to details and use Batchmaster/Sage 300 - training will be provided.
Must have a great attitude.
We are ISO 9001-2015 registered Responsibilities Excellent working knowledge of Batchmaster, Word, Excel and Sage Process Purchase Orders Work close with Vendors Updating Price Quotes Assist with inventory - inventory entries ISO
Responsibilities:
Auditor, maintain purchasing surveys and purchasing reports Close batch tickets Input new product item key Recycling industrial oil report Purchase requisitioned raw materials Maintain standard costs of raw materials.
Maintain vendor performance quarterly log.
Obtain samples and product information on new products selected by technical dept.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Professional courteous telephone etiquette.
Organization skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects Full Time - HourlyPay is negotiable depending on experience Monday through Friday 8:
