Linux Administrator, Mid
Key Role:
Administer Linux and UNIX operating systems, including provisioning applications for a large federal client and Big Data environments, and provisioning software. Administer a VMWare hypervisor environment and provisioning software. Administer storage platforms that provision the environment. Evaluate system workflow, organization, and planning problems and develop appropriate corrective actions. Conduct quality control on the processes and products produced. Assist with the formulation of technical strategies and processes for administered systems. Write, interpret, and analyze technical documentation regarding system administration, and provide consulting support to internal and external working groups and committees, as a substantive authority in the subject area, when required. This position is located in Norco, CA.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with Linux administration
Knowledge of VMware hypervisor environment and provisioning software
Knowledge of Big Data environments, including Hadoop and Accumulo and provisioning software
Knowledge of methodology and federal information system policies, including NIST 800.53, FISMA, the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and configuration management
Active Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
CompTIA Security+ Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with analyzing and implementing network configuration management plans and documenting network or system topologies
Experience with configuring and troubleshooting network service support for DoD networks and C4I systems or similar commercial systems
Ability to ensure IA compliance in a computer system or network, including WAN routing protocols and tables, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), System Log (syslog) and NetFlow, Cisco device configurations, iOS images and licenses, ACLs, and port security
BA or BS degree, preferred
Linux Certifications

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
