Qualifications:
Must have 2 years experience of dog training.
Experience with private training sessions and day training/overnight training.
Passion/willingness to train dogs of all breeds Excellent communication skills with clients, trainers, owners and other staff members The dog trainer is responsible for providing training and supervision to dogs.
This position will be based out of our training center.
The person in this position will be responsible for helping with training sessions, behavior management, communication skills, and socialization.
Detailed job duties include:
Identifying problem behaviors in dogs and developing/implementing plans to help owners.
Teaching owners our methods to continue reinforcement training at home.
Handle dogs during socialization.
Maintaining a positive work environment Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Job Types:
