We are currently looking for an experienced & skilled CDJR Parts Counter Person to join our team and bring an outstanding consumer experience to the table.
Job Description As a Parts Counter Person you will be reporting to Parts Manager, will be responsible in assisting all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
You will be fulfilling the requests for parts and accessories to both technicians and the retail parts counter.
Responsibilities Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
Notifies the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
Follows up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily.
Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer and that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered and stay updated on new products.
Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
