Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to join our team in supporting the Department of the Navy.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in O365 SharePoint development, including the creation of Power BI Dashboards, Power Apps, forms, reports and Planner.
Your contributions will be crucial in enhancing the functionality and efficiency of the Navy's SharePoint environment.
This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, creativity, and a solid understanding of data integration and reporting tools.
As with any position, additional expectations exist.
Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Power BI Dashboards to support the Department of the Navy's data visualization and reporting needs.
Create custom SharePoint forms and reports, ensuring they meet user requirements and are user-friendly.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective SharePoint solutions.
Create Power App tools to be utilized within the Department as we move forward into more proficient and automated processes.
Maintain and update SharePoint applications and workflows to improve efficiency and functionality.
Ensure all developments are in compliance with Department of the Navy's cybersecurity standards and protocols.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on SharePoint functionality and Power BI Dashboards.
Basic QualificationsCompTIA Security
or IAM II or higher CertificationMinimum of 3 years of experience in SharePoint development, including Power BI and other SharePoint capabilities.
Proficiency in developing forms, reports, and data import solutions in a SharePoint environment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsSharePoint Development certificationBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Prior experience working with the Department of the Navy or other military/government environments.
Demonstrated expertise in creating Power BI apps and complex SharePoint solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
