What we expect from you:

Competent with handling breeds of all sizes and cats Ability to recognize normal vs.
abnormal behaviors, and abnormal skin conditions.

Be a competent multi-tasker, organizer and understand the importance of maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Handle stress and pressure with poise and tact Be knowledgeable with Word and Excel and know how to maintain accurate pet records.
Emulate the practice's objective of exceeding patient care and client service expectations.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding clients and pets for whom the practice provides boarding, grooming and veterinary services.

Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
Responsibilities:
Client communication Bathing, brushing, cutting, clipping, and styling haircoats/fur of dogs and cats.
Basic pet care such as nail trimming, ear cleaning and anal gland expressions.
Effectively manage scheduling of grooming and bathing appointments Become familiar with and follow established policies and procedures and ensure your team does the same.
Maintain accurate and timely pet records.
Complete all appointments, projects/tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
Perform all essential skills as is expected of a groomer/bather and within the scope of practice.
Maintain health and safety standards as required by OSHA by ensuring effective sanitation practices of equipment, instruments, kennel, and grooming spaces.
Assist in the mentoring and training of new groomer/bathers.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Professional Groomer Certification (required) A minimum of 3-year experience as a professional groomer (preferred) Job Types:
